What are the possible earnings ?

       Imagine your organization to be more reactive, to produce better decision-making choices and more effective implementations. What would be the earnings, what would be the impact on P & L ?

EARNINGS : on the scale of time and delay.
Example: to end an important project
one month earlier. Take one of your projects and calculate what would be the realized economy...

EARNINGS : on the quality of the solutions to be implemented.
Example: find simpler and more economic solutions. Take the cost of "your last complicated project", and imagine the economy on a solution half as
simpler.

EARNINGS: on the quality of the implementation of the decision.
Example:
making sure that a good decision is implemented by everybody from the very beginning. Take your last deployment, or your last product launch, or your last reorganization, and imagine that, from the beginning, everybody dashes into the right direction by mobilizing all their energy: what was the cost of all the necessary corrective actions ?

EARNINGS: on the effectiveness of a managing team.
Example:
On the 1st level. Take the total of the wages, social contributions, other expenses, and imagine that this team is more effective by 5%. And what if were 30%? On the 2nd level : take the total of the cost of the organizations driven by this team. Imagine that it is possible to increase by 1% the productivity of their organizations or to reduce by 1% the cost price to equal performance. And what if it is 10%?

EARNINGS : on the production of innovating ideas.
Example
: To imagine the discovery of an additional market, of a product or of a new service… Which could be the additional income or the margin?

EARNINGS: on the cost of the low quality of management.
Example
: : reducing the turn-over of high quality personnel. Calculate what is the cost of the departure of some good personnel ? Cost of recruiting five managers : expenses of recruitment. Indirect costs: how many months under normal performance… And if they are salesmen, which will be the shortfall?

EARNINGS: cost of low managerial performance.

xample: A director who directs 30 people , what if they perform only upto 70% their capacities. How to calculate the shortfall of not making the managed elements more powerful?


    Think of a particular group in your organization: which is the potential resource available? And all that without changing the structure, without changing the men, and without changing the systems.
